Mandy Ellison believes that every person deserves the opportunity to live a meaningful, fulfilling life and to be valued for their unique strengths. As President of WCDC, Inc., she is dedicated to creating opportunities that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence, build meaningful relationships, and thrive in their communities.

With more than a decade of leadership experience, Mandy combines strategic vision with a genuine passion for serving others. She enjoys building strong teams, fostering innovation, and creating a workplace where employees feel supported and inspired to make a difference every day. Mandy is committed to ensuring the organization continues to grow while never losing sight of what matters most—the people it serves.

Mandy holds a Master of Arts in Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as an EMT certification. Mandy lives with her spouse, Phillip, her children, and dog, Mini, in Springville, IA. Mandy enjoys jogging, reading, spending time with her family, and camping. 

Stacy May Klinzman has proudly called Washington County home her entire life. Raised in Washington, Iowa, she developed a strong appreciation for hard work, service, and community—values that continue to guide her personally and professionally.

For more than 15 years, Stacy has served at WCDC, supporting individuals with disabilities as they work toward greater independence, confidence, and meaningful goals. Her experience includes Prevocational Services, Supported Employment, Job Development, and High School Transition Services.

​

Stacy’s leadership philosophy is centered on person-centered support, communication, and collaboration. She believes strong leadership means listening, recognizing individual strengths, and helping others succeed. Whether working with colleagues, individuals, families, or community partners, she is committed to building trust, encouraging growth, creating opportunities, and helping people feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute.

Kayley Clark serves as the Vice President of Client Experience at WCDC. With more than 10 years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Kayley is passionate about helping people live meaningful, fulfilling, and successful lives. She believes that strong relationships are the foundation of quality support, and enjoys building lasting connections with individuals, families, case managers, and community partners.

Advocacy, inclusion, and person-centered care are at the heart of everything Kayley does. She is committed to creating opportunities that empower individuals, celebrate their strengths, and help them achieve their goals while ensuring every voice is heard and valued.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Kayley hiking, reading, exploring new places on road trips, or making memories with her children and family.

Elizabeth Mary Van Dyk was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa where her father was a pastor, and when Elizabeth was born, he served a church in Cedar, Iowa. At two, her family moved to Hamilton, Michigan, where her father accepted another church position. Before sixth grade, the family returned to Iowa, settling in Iowa City. Elizabeth graduated from City High School in 1990.

After graduation, Elizabeth moved to Rock Port, Missouri, where she opened and managed a bar and grill. She also worked for a show Yorkie breeder, caring for the dogs and helping show them at dog shows. After about 13 years in Missouri, Elizabeth returned to Iowa City before eventually moving to Kalona.

​

There, she began working as a Direct Support Professional with REM Iowa. Her first day was overwhelming, but as she got to know the individuals she supported, she quickly realized she had found the field where she belonged. Over the years, Elizabeth has learned a great deal and remains grateful for the meaningful relationships and friendships she has developed through her work.
